Okay, so you know how children look around and pray for what ever they see? "Thank you God for the moon, and the stars and the curtains and the wall and the....." Well, today Zach was singing a song that I've song to him since he was a little guy that I learned while teaching the 2-3 year olds. He loves for me to sing it to him, and he asks me to sing it about EVERYONE we possibly know, over and over again. So, as he was singing it, he went through the normal ones (Jay, mommy, Zach, grammie, etc) and then he started going on to the inanimate objects...and the one that cracked me up was this...
Garbage can, Garbage can, garbage can dear, you are very special.
You're eyes are blue and your hair is blonde and we love you just that way.
Well. How sweet. He even thinks of the garbage can.
Then he asked me to sing for him... and he introduced me..In his best announcer voice...
"Ladies and gentleman! Mommy will now sing for me!!"
So I sang (something we OBVIOUSLY do alot of here LOL).
And then he says "Thank you, mommy!"
How fun are kids! Oh to be a kid and think garbage cans are worth singing about!
